What is the name of this part??
Does anyone know the name of this part and where can I get new or a real good pair. It comes from a 72 cutlass 2 door supreme hardtop on the outside side windows. Need all front and rear quarter glass.

Looks like a molding to me. Maybe a Chrome quarter window, a drip molding, or a opera molding. I really dont know for sure your description is kinda vague.
I would go to www.opgi.com and look at what they have plus order a catalog for the cutlass. They have every (and I mean every) part you would need. Brand new too (If you like that). I sure some other guys on here may have the parts as well.
Happy huntings

Supreme wide chrome door molding
That is a wide door chrome molding for a Cutlass supreme. You will not find that reproduced anywhere that I know of (someone will correct me if I am wrong). PM me for glass, I may have what you need.

One of the pieces i had, had a pretty good crease in it. I started trying to find a better used one, but didn't have much luck. I ended up finding a guy local to me who fixed it, and i can't even tell where the crease was.

That piece is one of 4 that makes up the B85 Belt line moldings. It has a special attachment on the bottom to fit onto the narrow 'ledge' on the top of the Cutlass door and quarter panel.
The long belt line molding is the same for Cutlass fastback and notchback. The rear is special for both models. It is not repopped as you know and is NOT stainless trim. It is anodized. So if you're looking to re-do it that's what process to use.
Patton got a kit for these from Fusick a while back and said they weren't much good IIRC. I believe he said you can get the better kit at Steele Rubber products. https://secure.steelerubber.com/search_frameset.php

Steve, I'd be interested in what he had done. Can you find out and let us know? I lightly did mine with some fine steel wool and they don't really buff up like regular stainless. When I was doing some other research a lot of comments on VC trim indicated it may be anodized aluminum and need to be replated.

He had the rear window / door trim on his VC done. They came out superb! The guy got it a little thin in one spot but you can't tell. It is better than factory. He lives in Austin, I wanna say the guy was local but it was a year or two ago and I've done chemo since then...I don't remember. I'll find out...stand fast.
