What Luck

Yesterday was a banner day. My wife and I switched cars because she had to leave first and was out of gas. I drove her 300 to drop my son off at preschool and when I got home, I discovered that someone hit the car in the back bumper and did a decent amount of damage, even knocked the chrome strip that sits on top of the bumper up in the air. No way they didn"t know they hit it and did not leave a note either.

Then my wife comes home from work yesterday afternoon and the front bumper on my truck is dented and pushed in about 2 inches. Again no note. Some people really do suck.

The most important thing was that no one was hurt, but I am pissed that no one owns up to their mistakes.

Yeah.

And what a coincidence that both the front of one vehicle and the rear of the other should be affected at the same time .

When my wife says, "Something happened to the ______..." I know it means, "I did something to the _____."

Same happened to our new car at my daughters softball practice. Car has 4k on it. And Im nuts with my vehicles. I always park away from other cars all the time. Someone backed into the back bumper pretty hard. Big deep gouge and 2 foot long mark along the bumper. One support bracket was knocked out. Stuff like that makes me sick. No note. Nuthing.

Ha ha lol that would be funny Richard if it were true. The 300 had blue paint on it from whatever car hit it. Doubt I will ever find out who did it. However my wife's a teacher and they have surveillance cameras up around the school. I am hoping that maybe they can find it on the security tapes.

I understand, I am the same way when it comes to parking my cars and trying to keep them out of harms way. Unfortunately, like you, my ride also only has 4k on it. The only good news was that the damage happened to my chrome front bumper, no paint damage. Already ordered one from Rockauto.

Both you and Richard think the same way! If we parked them back to back I definitely would have given her a dirty look.

Sorry to hear that, Darrell. It sucks. People sure aren't as honest as they used to be. Hopefully the camera did catch it happening and you can bust them, lol!

If you weren't in LI, I'd bet money it was a certain banned valve cover polisher.
