What does this mean?

1988 Cutlass Supreme Classic has the sticker on the inside of the trunk that has this RPO code FFL. Fisher body and quarter buildup. What does that mean? Thanks

Can you post a pic? I don't show that as an option code.

RPO list

Here is that image. Did not think it would come out as good as it did. That RPO is listed fifth from the left in the middle of the column. In addition to that there are RPOs listed on the paper that are not on the car. I bought that car new and I know that paper has not been changed or altered in any way. Hope you were able to get that.

These are build codes , not option codes. An option code could encompass more than one build code, so your order option codes may not show up here.
Do you have a Chassis Service Manual? I'd look there. Let me know.

I have no Chassis Service Manual for this 1988 Cutlass. If the options codes remained the same over the years could I find them in my 1970 Cutlass manual? Where do I get the Chassis Service Manual for this car?

Out of all the extra CSMs I have for so many years, I have no extras for 1988.
Try Ebay, Walter Miller, Bill Sandy.
Be careful, there are 2, one for big cars and one for small ones. Cool race car theme covers.

I think that simply in reference to the Fisher Body portion of the build. As opposed to the chassis build/final assembly.

I just checked, the '88 CSM *does* have a breakdown of the numbers on that tag, and the VIN, and the body tag. Makes that CSM a must have!
