A set of anchor 2328 will work great and if you can find an older pair (maybe ebay) that is made in the usa even better. dont waste money on finding factory ones unless your that type of person...the anchor brands fits perfectly . remember there is little room for error when lowering the engine in any tilting and the mount thru bolt wont line up and it is sometimes required to loosen the mount to block bolts then put the thru bolt in

If these mounts are going in your 56, you probably didn't need to spend the money. The 56 has a front mount on the block. The stock crossmember won't be in the correct place to use these. You'd have been far better off getting an aftermarket engine mount crossmember or using a Toro front mount on the 455.

455 mounts

i was going to do picture 1 but now after people saying it might not be as good..im opting for picture 2 with the 72 455 motor mounts welded on a made bracket extending out from the 1956 oldsmobile frame ( oh and im putting a 1972 455 olds engine in my 1956 olds not a original engine)
