Motor Mounts for Omega Engine swap is Sat.

Motor is going in next weekend. I have found some 403 firebird motor mounts (frame) but they are different than what was relayed to me on forum. Can i use either or? or do I need the purchase the brackets?

The motor that is going in is a Olds 350 and it has motor mounts on the block already. The motor was just pulled from a 67 Cutlass. Can I use the mounts on the block or do I need 403 specific mounts?

Here are pics of the frame mounts that are in the firebird.
Also are the pic that were relayed to me on forum. Which ones?

Here are the 403 trans am motor mounts on frame. Can I just use these mounts to bolt to my Omega and will the motor mounts(block) fit onto the 403 mounts (frame)?

Am I able to use the mounts that are on the olds 350 block already? They will sit right on the brackets?

OK...the ones you have on the frame STAY PUT. These bolt to the block and they are not mine. I just pulled a pic off the web and it happened to be an ended Ebay auction.

If they are the normal rubber Olds motor mounts, no. You either need the correct metal frame mounts to use with the rubber motor mounts, or the rubber clamshell frame mounts from the T/A and the matching metal engine brackets.

Mounts not lined up?!

Ran into a big issue with the swap. The metal brackets for block fit perfectly. The motor mounts for frame fit perfectly on the frame. All the passenger side mounts lined up perfectly and were able to be bolted together. However, the drivers side is off about an inch.

Complete motor mount system from any 76-79 Cadillac Seville will work. All these cars had 350 Olds gas or diesel engines with the X body sub frame.
