Ya think. It is pathetic that somebody lets a car like that sit and deteriorate for 30 years. I wonder what the reserve is.

That's a cool car, great color with nice options. I'd love to see the restoration processes that something like that needs to go through. Yikes.

The amount of money to make that car right exceeds it value by a lot.

The big worry is how bad the parts have deteriorated.

When a car like this has more bad than there is good, well...I admire your dedication for taking it on, but not something I would ever consider. They mention they have all original docs, but show none in the pics. That would have been helpful.

Even with documentation, that would be a very difficult and expensive undertaking.

While the paperwork might be kind of interesting the reality is this is a parts car thanks to 30 years of sitting out side in the northeast. It is at $9300 right now and it is already exceeding the value of the parts in my opinion from what I can see.

All I can say is good luck.... You will need it and a bunch of money to get this back to what it was like in 1970.

I'm an optimist, but this W-30 does seem rough.

Exhaust pipe looks like it might need replacement but other than that, it'll clean up in a weekend or two.

You had a green car.....you need another now! The package appears to include an extra air cleaner base so it's even a better deal.

Whether you re-body it or fix what's there, I don't think the amount of replaced sheet metal will differ by much. One option will have a lot less welding wire involved...

And now it is at $12,600 with 5-6 more days to run. This thing is going to get crazy stupid. I bet it's going into the $20's.

Mecum Indy. Still has a Catalog Star spot available for Thursday 5/19. $1500 plus commission. 10% if you put a reserve, 5% if you go no reserve.

I had thought about it till I added up the fees. Just can justify it. I know that now is the best time to sell but I just can't decide what I am doing. As indecisive as I am right now it may be best if it just sits as it is. I may end up listing it somewhere other than here on CO.

When the reserve is not met he is likely running it up himself< or at least having someone do it. Real bidding I would bet is not going to go this high.

Yeah, it was a zero feedback bidder taking it from $12,500 to $15,000.

Cancelled due to an "error" in the listing. Was fun while it lasted.

Were any of those bids for real? Those amounts seem like a bit much for a project car.
