Vent window question

On a 1967 cutlass is the vent window the same between a 4 door hardtop and a two door hardtop? I知 guessing post cars do not have the same vent window.

No, the angles of the windshield and A-pillar are different. On convertibles and 2 door hardtops the windshield is laid back. The 4 door hardtop shares the same winshield angle as the 2 door post, 4 door post, and wagon. Those have a windshield that stands up straighter.

Here are some pics to help visualize:
This is a 67 4 door hardtop I bought to make a 66 chevelle 4 door hardtop wagon:

Here is a stock 66 A-body wagon roof line:

Here is a mock up of a 66/67 2 door hardtop roof line on my 66 chevelle 2 door hardtop wagon project. Notice how different the angles are. Originally, I planned to use the 66/67 roof line, but decided even after all the work of changing the front roof area, the C-pillar would never look right. So, I decided to use a 64/65 hardtop roof line and glass instead.

The windshield angle was the same across all 65 body styles so the angles were not a problem.

This might be more info than you needed, but the simple answer is no. 2 door hardtop and 4 door hardtop are not the same. Both due to the windshield angle and the fact that that the 4 door hardtop wing window does not go as far back along the door.

No, despite using the same windshield angle as the post bodies, The 4 door hardtop wing window shape is unique to 66/67 4 door hardtop. If you look at the first two pics in the post above, you can see how the 4 door hardtop cutlass and 4 door wagon have totally different shaped windows. Are you missing a window in your car, or simply trying to get nicer chrome/ glass to replace what you have?

Which side? Green tint or clear? I have a few sets from cars I have parted out. I would be willing to let go of one of my clear pieces. Shipping should not be too bad if it is just the glass and not the whole assembly.

I got the vent glass I needed. Now I’m curious if the windshield is shared with any other models or if it has to be 4 door hardtop specific like the wing window?
