Will vent windows from a 4 door Cutlass work on 2 door hardtop cutlass ? Guy has a pair cheap and need a set for my car.

No. There are FIVE different A-body vent window assemblies for the 1968 model year. None of them interchange.

I'm assuming angle of vent or height is what is different. I have pair of 69 that have the rivet for the hinge and mine on car are a stud going up into frame. That is what is broke or missing on mine.

Correct. Angle and height are both different. For example, convertible windshield frames are a different height and angle from Holiday coupes.
Also post car vent frames mount completely differently from hardtop vent frames due to the fact that they fit inside the metal window frame on those doors.

Are you looking for the wing window assemblies for a 1968 Cutlass 4 door hardtop?

2 door hardtop. I have a ok passenger one in a box. It has pitting that I dont like but it's better then duct taping current window in place. So looking for both sides in a 2 door hardtop

OK. I think I have a set of those too. I'll poke around to see what I can find. I understand this post was because you found a set of 4 door ones cheap. But you might consider creating a parts wanted thread if you haven't done that yet. Then see if anything is offered up at a price your comfortable with. John

FWIW I don't think the angle between the 68 hardtop and convertible windshields are different. I've had the two vent windows up against each other and they are identical. The profile where the weatherstripping rides is definitely different though. My convertible had a hardtop door on it when I got it and the door and window closed fine but there weatherstripping was shot
