Unknown switch

Unknown switch

Can someone tell me what the foot activated switch is between the brake pedal and the acellerator pedal . I have a 66' 442. Thanks Tom

There is no factory-installed switch there, so it was added by a previous owner. The floor-mounted dimmer is far to the left of the brake pedal, and the kickdown switch for the trans is on the engine side of the firewall.

I think it was my 73 vega that had A bulb on the floor that you pumped with your foot to spray washer fluid on the windshield. Maybe it's something like that ?

Wonderbar radio also had a foot switch, maybe someone added one at one time, trace the wires and see where they go.

Does it have an overdrive added to it. My gearvendors came with another swicth that looks just like a headlight dimmer switch.

since it was not a factory item... either

trace the wires and see where they go to/ from

or

Play with it and see what happens.
