Post Turn signal problems

My 1970 Culass turning signals are out of sorts. I first noticed them beginning to blink very slowly. I bought a new flasher, but now the left signal doesn't work at all. I've checked all the bulbs, and noticed the one on the rear left is loose in the socket. I put in new bulb & bulb grease. The right signal is working ok, but left just doesn't want to work. Does anyone have ideas of how to fix?

Did you replace the hazard flasher that is plugged into the fuse box or did you replace the turn signal flasher that is plugged into a socket on top of the steering column?

If the right signal is working its not the flasher.

Just pointing out that there are two flashers for the different functions.
