I like 2 black marks on the pavement when I hit the gas on a 455.
I have the heart ready to go in after the front end gets a rebuild
and the body gets some paint.
The #'s match block is there with the intake and some Ka heads under
the bench for it at a later date.

Hey buddy, seems like I'm confused too. 🤔.
Can you please clear it up for me because I too like to see 2 black lines. Did you switch your gears, the whole differential, or the whole rear end?
Did you swap to the 1970 version becasue it is superior to what was on there originally.

Apologies guys. Sometimes my explanations are about as clear
as mud on your windshield after driving through a light rain with bad wipers.
The 70 442 original one wheel peel 3.23 type 0 unit was replaced with one from a 66 442.
It is a 3.23 limited slip (posi) rear. All I did was swap one for the other.

Moving on...
Anyone had to deal with some idiot spraying that expansion
foam into the trunk area? Any removal tips are welcome.
I have an idea I'm going to try. Hot knife through butter as they say.
We'll see how well it will work.

Thanks Bill. One day, how soon, I don't know. Trans and front end need to be rebuilt 1st.
I haven't decided yet on weather to go with a rebuild of the 2004R that I have from an 87 GNX or rebuild the turbo 400 OG.

Well fudge...
so I drove over to Seward Junction to get my early 70 trunk lid back from the
soda blaster. What I thought was a good-n-straight and rust free unit...
It had black painted primer on top of yellow paint before it went out, ha.
Like Forest said, "Life is like a box of chocolates, ya never know what your gonna get." Bondo can hide multiple sins, that is for sure. I figure either a 12 gauge slug or a .44. Damn.
