1983 Delta 88 royale...307 motor.

I just need to know the water pump bolt torque but when i search i find everything but. Is there even a certain amount of torque, if so how much?

It's in your Chassis Service Manual, in the torque table at the end of Chapter Six.

Note that the small bolts are self tapping and simply screw into the sheet metal front cover. DO NOT overtorque these, as they strip easily.

The CSM is the first thing you should get if you plan to work on the car. There are several on ebay right now, starting at $10. Be sure to get the version that covers your particular car, as there are identical looking ones for the FWD cars like the Ciera and Firenza.

You will also want the Electrical Troubleshooting Manual, which includes all the wiring diagrams. The ETM covers all models.

"Gut-and-tight."

Sorry, if I knew the exact value I would give it to you. If you've been turning a wrench for awhile you should know when it's tight enough. It's not like your torqueing head bolts on a Cadillac Northstar motor.

Yeah, on those front cover bolts, tighten until they strip out, then back off just a little...
