And they dont repop these why???

Is this really what the Cutlass S grilles are going for? I have an NOS one in the box just like this and it makes me want to sell it just to have some cash in my pocket. With the W-31 and Rallye 350 popularity increasing you would think they would want to repop these so they can make some money and help out all of these people who are paying an arm and a leg for these parts....

Yes, they go for stupid money simply because they are NOS OEM and the aren't repopped. That's come up as a discussion before and it's kind of frustrating that no one's paying attention to that mold. Even the 71/72 442 grills got done and they also are fairly intricate to create molds for. At 285.00 in that auction someone actually got a steal of a deal. Even used grilles go for big money because they are hard to find now. The grills aren't just for Cutlass S BTW, they were also on the base Cutlass, f-85s, sedans and Vista Cruisers. Most that show up for sale have issues with broken pieces.

One side (can't remember which) is more popular as a seller than the other.

I know - shocker isn't it?

Even repro stuff isn't cheap. A pair of 68 headlight buckets is $400

Yep, purchased some from Fusick. I had buyers remorse until I got them installed, it was worth it in the end.

70 S Grilles

I paid $1000 for an NOS pair 5 years ago for my 70 F85 W31.
They were awesome for a show car. Sold the originals(with issues) for $250.
The "old story" pay for what u want - don't think they will be repoped & if they
do the purist will surely find the differences.
