Is there a Doctor in the house?

I am looking for Dr. Decal, Mark Cornea. His web site is still down and I was going to order some decals. From this forum I understand he might be a member here? Mark are you still in business?

This has come up here.

He did sign on and post, but I can't seem to find his handle.

Ok Mr. Smart guy. I've been dying to ask you this for a long time. How do you get the hyperlink to come in as 'here' or some other obscure phrase??? Don't tell me that's a Mac thing....

Well, you see Allan, it's a Mac thing...

Actually, look down at the "Quick Reply" field at the bottom of the page.

You will see an icon that looks like the emblem of one of James Bond's enemies: The World in Chains .
  1. Type your text.
  2. Highlight the portion that you want to make into a link.
  3. Click the
  4. Type the URL that you want to link to into the window that opens.
  5. Hit "Return."
  6. Done.

MD, don't take offense, but I gotta ask. Is your car a Mary Kay original edition?

You don't want to know how much Mary Kay you've got to sell to get one of these .

I contacted him through Facebook and he got back to me within 24 hours. Obviously you need an account there. Did you send him a PM though classic olds?

I am not the facebook kind of guy. I like my privacy.
Did Mark say if he was still in the Decal business? Do you know his user name on CO?
Thanks for looking AND finding him.

Mark is a member of C.O. but he doesn't appear to visit all that often. Here is the link to his C.O. homepage https://classicoldsmobile.com/forums...s/drdecal.html

He has only one post with info to use this email address while the site is down for reconstruction. Hope it helps you ... info@drdecal.com

I have emailed info@drdecal and it seemed to go through.

I just heard from Marc, so he is alive and well.

I talked to Mark today. All is good and I have new decals on the way. His new web site is almost ready. He said it's going to be awsome! He is going on a vacation so if you are looking for him don't be suprised if he's out of touch for a bit.

Looks great, Mark!

I'm no fancy-pants 100-point restorer, but you're an asset to the hobby.

If your stickers are looking kind of sick the Doctor has the cure. I have a bunch of Dr. Decal produts and all are top quality. Plus made in the good o'l USA! Not some chinese crap that will fade in 2 weeks.
I find myself checking EVERY product I buy now and if it's made in China back on the shelf it goes. All of it is complete junk. Sorry I digressed bit of a pet peeve of mine

Thank Goodness. I went through withdrawal and had to buy from other vendors. Some good some bad. Yours have always been exceptional! Great to see you back

Like so, without the fat X inside the brackets:
[xurl=http://drdecal.com/]This is where you put the name of the link[/url]

Which looks like this: This is where you put the name of the link

Much easier to 'right click -copy' the URL, highlight the word(s) you want to indicate the URL in your post, then click on the icon in the above toolbar that has a pic of the world with a piece of chain link under it. (looks like this => )
That will bring up a box that you paste 'right click - paste) the URL in to.

Mark, sorry for the sidebars on the links. I just added your new site to my favorites. I see some new decals that weren't there before. Thanks again.

I'll just say that I can type it a lot faster than you can click around. :P Each to his own.

Works with [ color=red], [ b], [ i], [ u], [ size= 8], [ quote=Author;postnumber] and so forth. It's called BBCode, or Bullitin Board Code.
