Summer work slow down
It is summer now in Arizona, we skipped spring as usual the experts say it was only 97 degrees today, check out the thermometer at my house, so now it is 5 months of hell, you think working on a car when it's 10 degrees sucks? try 110 degrees, just as bad we wear gloves here as well, I am just whining now, because my car is not done and I have to spend another summer working on it and not driving it. My garage has AC but is really not big enough to work on the car just store stuff. The first 4 pictures are at 3:30 pm and the last one is 5:30 pm

Yes, its that time of year when the Arizona contingent stop bragging about the weather. "They" like to claim year round great weather, but I'm quite aware of the 5 month window you refer to.
For quite a few reasons, I like my northern Ohio location just fine. Arizona?, no thanks, not for me.

Upside to AZ, however, is that there's never any salt on the roads and don't have to put your car in storage. In college, my car was such a piece of junk that I would drive around without A/C all the time. In some ways, it actually made it more tolerable, as you'd just get used to the heat instead of going in and out of something that was 45 degrees cooler. I think being in really good shape with little body fat helped as well.
To me, the biggest issue isn't necessarily the high temperature. What I end up hating is that during the summer, it NEVER cools down. NEVER. At midnight, 1am, it's still 95-100 degrees. It's just relentless. If it actually cooled down into the low 70s, it wouldn't be so bad.
I dunno, there's days here in NYC where I'm swearing because I'm spending yet another day walking to the subway in 28 degree temperatures and pouring RAIN that's flying at me sideways. The grass is always greener.
To me, the only place with perfect weather is Southern California. Sadly, I and 50 million other people agree on this, which just made it somewhat unliveable for me after awhile. Still, in a perfect world, that's where I'd live if I could.
