I don't know if it's cast iron, or aluminum. The person that listed it on craigslist, has it for sale, with 2 chevy intakes, and one carb, he wants 100 for all.

Looks like 2-2 barrels on each side and one in the middle.
Five deuces?!?!?!?
Looks like cast iron. Interesting.
I'm like you. If it's not crazy money, I'd be tempted to grab it just for the novelty.
You never know. It might be a rare high dollar item.

Nah- dont think that's an Olds- the distributor never ran through a hole in the intake. Unless its a homemade deal, it could be an experimental thing maybe?? I've seen 4x2's 6x2's and even 8x2's, but 5x2's??

Hard to see in the pic but Olds did play around with 5x2 manifolds in the 50s. They were never on a production car. It's good to hang on the wall for conversation.

Yah, I thought the hole for dist was wrong too. It's on craigslist for 200 , I thought when I first saw it , he wanted 100. but you have to buy all 3 intakes and one carb, if anyone is interested here is web site, it's in Ohio http://limaohio.craigslist.org/pts/4831662570.html

I thought all the first-gen Olds V8s used a separate valley cover and an "air gap" intake. It looks more like an intake for a Chevy 348 W-motor.

If I were close enough I'd have to go look at it and try to find casting numbers to key it out.
