special order colors 1969 cutlass

Other than Nugget Gold were there any other choices for special order factory exterior colors?

Far as I know the only other listed colors that were available at extra cost were Carribean Turquoise (code U) and Amethyst (code I)

Scot (GAOldsman) says his 72 CS that was special ordered by his Dad and delivered in a color that was not available on Olds - it was a Cadillac color IIRC. He has the window sticker for documentation.

In '69 RPO codes for Special Paint as follows
Y62 = Special Paint Solid Color (Charge)
Y63 = Special Paint Solid Color (No Charge)
Y66 = Special Paint Two Tone (Charge)
W40 = Special Paint "Firemist" Solid Color (Charge)

Nugget Gold, Caribbean Turquoise and Amethyst were Special Order Toronado "Only" Colors that could be Special Ordered for all Oldsmobiles at extra cost as well as other GM colors and non-GM colors at extra cost if your dealer knew the right avenues to follow and was accepted by the Brass.

Does anyone have any information on the cost of these "special order" color paints? Scot is the cost on the window sticker of your '72?

I have a "emerald green metallic" '67 442 hardtop & there was a "Bimini blue metallic" '67 442 convertible on eBay a couple of years ago. Both were Toronado "ONLY" colors, and built the same month/week.
