My car club as well as Hagerty organized a cruise through a number of seniors facilities is south Calgary. The weather held up and I was able to drive roof down for the most part. The facilities were pretty organized and had folks outside or on balconies nearby. We had just over 20 cars and gave the folks a look at a good cross section of cars. Based on their reaction I think that they really enjoyed it. It was a small gesture on our part but hopefully it made their day a little better.

We put on a car show at a local center and the residents truly enjoyed it. Some great stories were shared.

 

I think these are great events to take part in. Brings back good memories for most I hope.

 

Had a event like that in Quneil(sp ) BC a few years ago combined it with a poker run. The residence loved it, rather uplifting for us also....... Tedd
