I will be in the Smoky Mountain area soon with an empty trailer. Does anyone know of junk yards in the area that would have older cars? Or does anyone have a parts car they want to let go of? We will be anywhere from Ashville NC to Maggie Valley to Pigeon Forge TN and Knoxville TN area.

I have been watching Craigslist for something to drag home but not finding anything or it sold to quick. I may have to bring my computer from work with me so I can look while I am down there. Mixing pleasure and business together.

Eric,I was just down there,Didnt find a thing worth even looking at. I looked at a couple and I told one guy if he gave me the car and 500.00 I didnt want it

lol. Were you in the Smoky's? Do you go to the park or hang out in Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge? We go as often as time and money allow. This will be our third trip in 12 months.

Not in Smokey area, but Lanes Auto Salvage, Grimsley TN. is huge and lots of old stuff. Had a 68 442 in there years ago.

Eric,I was down there when they had the rod run,we passed thru on the way to Gergia to pickup my new trailer. Lots of stuff at the rod run but we were there late (Sunday).Looked @ a 69 post car in Severiville,Was on Ebay sold for 3500,0 Guy didnt follow thru with the purchase so I went and looked at it,Boy was that guy lucky..Look @ another 69 Cutlass in the mountans that was almost as bad for more money.Back in the 80s and 90s I would go down in the Carolinas,Tenn,and Kentucky to buy Muscle cars every pother weekend.
