Shipping weight of a complete 67 400 engine?

I will be shipping a complete 67 Olds 400 engine with heads, intake, carb, exhaust manifolds, water pump, fuel pump, distributor, valve covers, and starter. Pretty much a complete motor except for water pump pully. I am trying to get to a solid shipping weight number which will be motor weight and crate weight combined. Anyone have a good number on a complete motor? Thanks in advance for any help.

Several Google results show almost 700# for a complete engine.

Add a few pounds for the pallet. I usually round up just to prevent the shipper from coming back on me saying it was too light. I've found the price doesn't change much by adding 50 pounds, it's the size of the pallet/crate that is more sensitive to changing the shipping costs. John

This is pretty much what I am finding as well. Just thought I would reach out in case someone had a solid number from weighing in a complete motor. At this point I'm thinking 720 lbs for combined crate and motor to try and avoid under guesstimating.

I picked up a long block with trans on a 1000 lb engine picker and it struggled mightily. I can pick up a TH400, then the converter, so I would say that's 150 lbs. 700 sounds about right.

Won't be very different from the 455 dry weight in this marine engines document.
