Shaved door handles are usually where the door handles are removed and the doors are operated with solenoids.

He may be asking where to get those.

Shaved door handles are old men's hot rods and black dudes' hoopties, if you ask me.

I shaved the handles on my Custom 68 Cougar as well as the trunk lock. I used a solenoid kit from Summit that operates the doors and trunk via a keyfob remote.

There are a ton of kits available via Summit. My recommendation is get one with the door poppers included.

I don't own a hot rod or a hooptie but I've seen plenty of of muscle cars with shaved door handles. Although I most likely won't do it to any of my cars I do like the look - maybe on the cutlass convertible.

The Cutlass or F-85 emblems are pop riveted in so must be drilled out then bolt in the 442 emblem. I guess he didn't have a drill bit. Then why drill out for new holes ????

Car Craft featured a '67 442 with the Kindig handles in the November 2017 issue. I also installed them in my '72 Supreme and shaved the locks. I like the look.

Don't buy a kit from AutoLoc. I bought some seatbelts from them and they are POS. Plus, I joined their "members club" to get special offers and coupons. When I tried to use a coupon to buy one of their flame thrower kits they didn't honor it. Take your business elsewhere.
