Seeking information on former Oldsmobile Dealership in Hollister, California

I recently learned that a distant relative of mine, Sloss P. King Sr. owned an Oldsmobile dealership in or near Hollister, California in the 1940-60s. None of the living members of my family know much about this operation. I am reaching out the Oldsmobile community to seek any information about this dealership (location, years of operation, etc.). Any info is greatly appreciated!

My great aunt Clara Turney was married to Sloss. She was previously married so and Sloss I believe had a son. She was my dad's mother's sister. She was one of my relatives I was named after. I have a picture of my brother next to one of his cars

Interesting! My great uncle was Sloss Price King Jr. According to my father, my "Uncle Price" was an only child. He was in the 1952 Olympics for Track & Field (speed walking) and later became a parole officer for the State of California. He married into our family when he married my paternal grandmother's sister Maria in the 1960s. They were happily married until he passed in 2006.

So, your great aunt Clara would have been Price's stepmother (if I read your comment above correctly). Do you know much about Sloss Sr. or the dealership?

Looks like King Olds was a Florida dealership from this article:

and from the attached image.

Great conversation! Thanks for the picture and links about Jim Waibel and his connection to the Smothers Brother Racing team.

After more online sleuthing today I found that Tipton Motors was a Chevrolet-Oldsmobile dealership in Hollister, California. It was incorporated in 1963 by Thomas Tipton. I am not sure if this was the dealership owned by Sloss P. King Sr. at one time or what its name was prior to 1963. Today, this location (270 San Felipe Rd Hollister, CA) is Greenwood Chevrolet.

Sloss P. King, Olds Dealer, Hollister CA

I have a 1939 Oldsmobile brochure that has Sloss P. King's name and address rubber-stamped on the cover. I'll be happy to forward a scan of it if you'll provide an email address to which I can attach the scan.
