seat belt extenders

According to my wife, my mother-in-law is unable to use the lap belt in the back seat of my Cutlass. She's on the large side (insert mother-in-law joke here). I remember that years ago they used to make seat belt extenders for larger people, but the only ones that I am seeing on the web are for newer cars. Do they still make them for classics, and if so, where?

At the risk of starting a family squabble, can someone who needs seatbelt extenders even climb into the back seat?

I have some, but they are for the small buckles used on the front Deluxe belts. I don't know where to find large buckle extenders.

I think a "nudge" with a shoulder would get them in the back seat. My question would be HOW do you get them out of the back seat ?

Convertible

She has no problem getting in and out as long as the top is down.

Thanks. I'll give them a shout tomorrow to make sure that these will fit the lap belts in the back.

Most of what I've found so far are replacment shoulder/lap belt combos, not just rear seat lapbelts.

Have them made up by Jesse Grooms. He restores GM seatbelts. Extenders are easy for him. Great guy, fantastic workmanship. He's got the correct GM male and female buckles, as well as the correct DOT-spec webbing. He comes to spring and fall Carlisle, might be at one of the other shows also, or he can ship.
