Searching 1970 W-30 I sold 20 years ago

Zribandit,
I understand how you feel. I had a 70 442 W30 that I owned for many years. Finally sold it as a very rusty car in need of multiple panel replacements, so much so that I couldn't see doing then work. About 18 months later the car turned up for sale advertised as "all original sheet metal, yadda, yadda, yadda. I know for a fact that the car was actually re-bodies. It sold for in excess of $100k.
I was furious that it had been so badly misrepresented and wanted to track it down an d "enlighten" the owner. My better sense finally prevailed and I decided that I was better off keeping my mouth shut and avoiding the potential legal issues that could land on me by getting involved in what I saw a fraudulent deal. It still seriously upsets me but I am convinced now that I made the right call.
Besides, given what the car sold for, the guy probably lost his a**
