Scam artist

As some of you know, I am looking to buy a 1957 Olds 88 J2. Posted an ad on 442.COM. Got an e-mail today from a "Frank Roland" telling me he has what I need. I fired back a response asking for details. His reply came back telling me he lived in England[ in a different city than the original e-mail]. I asked him for photos etc. and got a poorly written post about "side pieces" for an 57 Olds 88, from a different city than the prior 2 posts! He's adamant that I send him my particulars ref. address, billing etc. so he can send stuff as "the plane is leaving in 5 days"! Spent the next hour toying with this numbskull, and threatening him with the FBI,RCMP,Interpol and my own personal Irish hitmen [or a batch of Jamesbo's shrimp that sat out on the porch a little too long] Anyway, tell yer friends 'an kin that they may want to be on the lookout for trusty "Frank Roland" when looking for Olds gear!

Thanks for the heads up. You can never be too careful when doing business with people on the internet.

Thanks for the name

Once bitten twice shy. I always pass on those "HURRY OR IT WILL BE GONE" offers cause if it looks too good it is and never hurry or you might get bit.
