Saffron Top from Brothers for '67 Convertible Cutlass/4-4-2
I see that Brothers is selling the saffron convertible tops
like originally came on the '67 saffron convertible 4-4-2.
Has anyone bought one of these?
I need one, but, I'm curious about the quality.

I doubt that they manufacture the tops they sell, probably buy and then re-sell.
Have you tried Kee Auto Top for the saffron top? They manufacture their tops, and have a great reputation in the restoration industry.

As far as looks, I have to agree that black IS hard to beat, but, if you've ever owned a convertible with a black interior (and actually driven it regularly) you'll never want another one.
Even with the top down it feels like you're riding around in an oven.
Since this is an original all saffron car, I'm trying to keep the colors original.
Plus, I'm a really ugly 65 years old guy with thin gray hair and wrinkles.
It'll take a lot more than a black interior and top to make a bad *** out of me.
I DO have a 4-4-2 ball cap though.

As far as BAP's history, that's the reason I posted this thread.
I've heard all the same negative stuff you guys have mentioned.
By the way, thanks for your input.
