Reviews for Ram Air Restoration exhaust manifolds.

Can anyone offer any feedback on this product? I'm thinking about using them on the 70 toro 455 I'll be putting in my car.

Ram Air Restoration oversize factory exhaust manifolds.

Hi Mike,
Thanks for asking. Yes,getting better, over the bump but still on a gravel road. The good news,I think I can see paved smooth road in the distance.

do you have the original manifolds? What else are you doing to the engine? Will the extra size matter enough for the extra price?

The original manifolds are Toro manifolds and will not work with an A body.

My short term goal is to install the stock 70 toro engine and save some money for a rebuild. When it comes time for a rebuild I want to keep compression at the point of requiring 93 octane.Add a little more cam, some mild head work to improve flow,a higher stall convertor to match the cam, compression and 3.42 posi.
The car now has 2.5 inch dual exhaust.
The car will receive a factory OAI.

Another goal is to keep things looking very close to factory so headers are out of the question.

thanks

ok, If that's the case I probably have an original set of manifolds that I would let go for less than the repos - just need to find them.

A few years ago, I was considering these manifolds, I think they were claiming a 25% increase in flow..check to make sure the outlet will handle 2 1/2 " headpipes.

Thank you for the offer.
The main reason I was considering these is because of the increased airflow.

Yes,the link I provided is for the oversize manifolds. They accept a 2.5 inch head pipe and they say that provides an 18% increase in airflow.
Their standard manifold accepts a 2.25 inch head pipe.
