Reuse Fuel Main Line & Vapor Return Line for EFI
I found where this has been discussed before but and I am confident the OEM (repo) main line which is 3/8" will work for the source because it matches the ID of aftermarket Earl's EFI Vapor Guard hose (3/8" ID). That's provided it the OEM dimension is 3/8" ID.
However for the EFI return line, I'm thinking the 5/16" vapor line should work as well. My only concerning is it's 1/16" smaller.
If so I'll just install adapters at both ends to switch to shorter sections of Earl's EFI 3/8" Vapor Guard hose that connect to the fuel pump unit at the gas tank (Tanks,Inc) and fuel regulator at the firewall.
That way, it's cleaner installation, less cost and the EFI fuel hose is expensive and prone to deterioration and vapor evaporation over time.
Any thoughts?

I will be (haven't ordered yet) using a Holley Terminator. I talked to some fuel line suppliers yesterday and they said most just order two 3/8" fuel supply lines. They will mount next to each other and exit at the same location in the front and rear. I will use adapter fittings (3/8" to -6AN) to convert to Earl's Vapor Guard fuel line hose at both ends.
