Restoring Mid 60's B&C Body Convertible Top Hinges

So I have this 66 98 convertible that's at ~345,000 miles now through my Dad and me.

The top hinges are riveted from the factory. Over the years and miles they are wearing loose.

Which means the front header bow is loose against the top of the windshield. Which means wind noise & water in the cabin. No fun...

Have any of you all replaced the rivets with something new and/or stronger to hold the front header bow tight against the windshield top?

Or is the fix Convertible Service or the other guys in Florida?

I'm pretty sure I can drill 'em out and tighten 'em up, but am not particularly interested in blazing a (dumb) trail here. I was thinking a big ol' bolt & nut & maybe a set screw.

Suggestions, opinions & rants welcome.

I wouldn't use a bolt and nut. I would use a rivet. There is a chance the bolt and nut can come loose. Plus, I wouldn't even attempt this unless I had a Factory Service Manual to aid me in disassembly of the convertible top. I've heard convertible tops are difficult to maintenance because they are very complex.
