removing the dash bezel

Just a general question.

I was attempting to remove the dash bezel this morning on my '71 cutlass. The top 2 screws came out fine. However, it feels as if there might be a few tabs on the bottom still holding it in.

What is the easiest way to remove the dash bezel w/o breaking off those two tabs? Seeing how the car is over 40 years old, I'm worried that the plastic might have become brittle over the years, and I don't want to break them off.

There are two more screws on the bottom. If you have the "opera?" lights under the dash with the blue plastic defuses, the screws that hold them in also hold the bezal in.

You need to undo 2 more screws from below. The ones that hold the diffusers for the aux lighting. Then it will come out really easy.

EDIT: dfire - looks like you and I posted at the exact same time!

Chip, where are you in Maryland? Somewhere in my "stash" is a new chrome dash bezel and some new woodgrain panels, too.

How much are you looking for, for the chrome bezel and the wood grain?
