I went and looked at a 67 98 Convertible today. Its in BAD shape. But i popped the hood and it has a really odd, but cool rectangle air cleaner. It was dusty and dirty and i couldnt read all the writing on the tin plate. But it is an Olds air cleaner. Everything was all original. Anybody know about it?

 

OK i found it. Its a CCC air cleaner.

 

I was gonna tell ya to look at BStone's threads. His car has it.

 

It took some searching. But i found it. Im surprised i never ran across one or pics before. I do like it, its just odd. I decided just to get the car anyway. Its got a bunch of cool options on it. I can save all the crap before the car gets scrapped. I just hope it makes it on and off the trailer. LOL


The owners are the second. They "say" it was the car used in the 1967 Chicago auto show. They bought it from a friend who bought it new. Its got all the bells and whistles. Telescopic and tilt, cruise, ccc, electric ign, Tac, disc brakes.
