Re-Webbing Seatbelts

I'm reworking the interior on my '75 Starfire, and the seatbelts are frayed and/or have other issues. Part of me wonders why I didn't source replacements last winter when I tore the interior out and noticed this, but I think deep down I know the answer. The mechanical parts seem fine. This car isn't supported well by the aftermarket due to lack of demand, so I'm looking into my options..
1. Camaro/Firebird belts from the same year (need to verify if they are equivalent) - ~$600
2. Used set in excellent shape (need to locate first, and then probably color/dye to restore) - $TBD
3. Replace the webbing - $TBD, but appears to be $560 for the full set

Who has experience with either options 1 or 3, and/or am I missing anything? For option 3, is there a standout vendor to use?

Thanks.

Color is going to potentially hamstring your options. Unless you need black, finding good used belts in the color you need is is a near improbable occurrence. Rewebbing is the best option if you are Ok with the modern style. Some of the vintage restoration guys might have correct style and color but most of the stashes are dwindling and expensive if you do find it.

Look towards the Corvette restoration suppliers. I just did the interior in my 68 Vette.
Here is a list. Google and do some homework. You want safety-rated webbing & stitching.

1. Stingray Sity. Contact Charlie Santorelli, 9 AM to 4 PM at (908) 719-2354.

2.
Ssnake Oyl https://www.ssnake-oyl.com/ 1.800.284.7777.

3.
Seatbelt plus. To me kinda looks like a harbor freight of seatbelts No reviews. Likely mostly offshore www.seatbeltsplus.com

4.
Julianos Hot Rod Parts https://www.julianos.com/Seat-Belts-s/96.htm 1.800-300-1932 Not sure… these guys might have something good with their direct fit stuff. It’s supposed to meet GM and Federal safety standards. Says available with factory buckles and logos for an additional charge??? What does that mean?

5.
Top Flight Automotive (833) 486-7354 https://www.topflightautomotive.com/...ior/seat-belts

6.
Corvette Seat Belts & Classics. Look at website. Pretty pictures.
The belt buckles look exactly like 68 Corvette. Decent pricing.

Ecklers, ZIP, Corvette Central and others carry the correct bolts for the seats and the seat belts.

#1 & #6 from droldsmorland's list are good from my experience. Charlie from seatbelt sity is a phonecall only type. Doesn't do internet.

When I had my ‘66’s re-webbed, the replacement material was slightly thinner than original. Good for adjusting, but not enough thinner that I worry about safety.

The replacements was offered by my upholsterer with that warning and they’ve worked fine.

Not exactly factory thickness though.

I provided this same link in previous posts. I should really go back and edit the threads to mention that they are overseas junk. In fact, I bought 2 seatbelts from them or a similar company that are complete junk. Buyer beware.
