Radio query/1973 '88

Anyone have an opinion on whether a AM-FM stereo radio for a '74 Delta 88 would easily fit into a 1973 88? The dashes changed configuration those years.

You need to measure between the posts and the size of the radio display opening.

if i remember correctly the 74-76 88/98 radios have much longer dials because the radio is recessed in the dash.

Thanks! My gut told me things would probably be different. I was looking at a '74 radio for sale on eBay, but my '73 88 is stored for the winter, so measuring isn't an option.
