Quadrajet power piston

Does anyone know if the power piston in the quadrajet is available as a
spare or do I need to visit the junkyard ?

Thanks
Bill

Are you the guy that asked that question on 442.com? I responded to your post. If you find one in the junk yard, that will work. In Cal where I live, I have not seen a nothing older about 1980. 10 years ago I would find cars all the time, now I never see one that old.

Yes , it's me, thought I would try another site also. I havn't looked for carburetors in junkyards in a while so it might be difficult here in Kentucky too, I do know of some out in the sticks off the beaten track that might be promising though.
Thanks.

Are you sure you're even needing one, as quite common a piece of grit gets cought in there, causing things to hang up. H-O Enterprises in CA does custom Q-Jet carb rejetting(or used to), but these parts are getting pretty rare.

Rebuild kits have them, at least they did the last time I rebuilt a Q jet.

Not the power piston itself - maybe a seal for it. I've never seen that.
