This dealer was here from at least 1934 (oldest date I can find) until 1991-1992 (I'm not sure the exact date they closed, but I did see a 1992 Eighty Eight with their sticker once).
I'm not sure of the zone code, but I'm pretty sure it was a member of the "Grand Olds Gang" if that rings a bell for anyone--similar to the "Reliable Men of Olds" in Cincy, this was Western PA's dealer network.

Had to wash every new car on the lot every morning.
I remember drooling over all the 4-4-2's.
I washed the '67 4-4-2 I ended up owning 2 years later and still own today.

Interesting 1970cs. Van-Trow also had the Cadillac/Oldsmobile dealership in Monroe. LA where I was raised and lived until 1979. The family actually lived in Monroe. I think they are a Toyota dealership now.

1976 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme Salon

Hey, Allan. My '69's a Jack Carter car too. I was just wondering if you'd been in touch with them, and if you were able to get any useful info on your car . IIRC I contacted them shortly after I got this car, some 11 years ago, and they were none too cooperative. Was your experience any better?

The dealer in Murfreesboro Tn was Jackson Oldsmobile ,don't have dealer code or zone but will try to publish it when I find it,the building still stands and is a furniture store now,i as picking the local scrap yard awhile back and stumbled upon the service desk that was in the service lane for many years,i verified that with a guy that was service manager there for several years,it has Oldsmobile painted on it but is banged up pretty good,if I can figure out how to post pics of it I will.I can email or text a picture of it from my phone if someone can post it

Image no longer works, so may have been listed, but if not this dealer was on E. Cleveland Ave. Was still there in 1986 as my parents bought a Cutlass Ciera from them then. Later the location became, and still is a, Honda dealer. I was at the Honda dealer around 2002 and they had a flower planter by their front desk that still had an Olds emblem on it. I tried to get it from them but they would not give, or sell it, to me
Next to the location was the Newark Drive-In. The only drive-in movie I ever saw was there - Clash of the Titans in the early 80's. Not the best movie, but still fun experience.
