posi rear

i have a 68 Delmont convert I've been selling parts from, I finally got under it and seen a tag on the axle, Posi unit. it has the huge bell-shaped brake drums. Was a 455 car. need to identify the axle. haven't pulled the cover yet,56k on the car. any idea what it worth being a big car? thank in advance.

The gear ratio will be important as well. The police-only 3.42 will be worth a lot, although it appears that by 1968 that was no longer offered. 2.56 and 2.73 were the most common ratios. 3.08 was optional. There was also a 3.23 ratio but again by 68 it was no longer available.
