I'm going to need a ps pitman arm soon to convert back from manual steering on my 68 Cutlass. New are available for $60. Are these considered a wear item, or am I ok just getting a used one?

 

should be o with a used one,as long as the taper hole wasnt wobbled out.

 

X2 oldolds88...Not normally a wear item unless the tapered hole got worn loose which is rare, it's not bent/twisted nor corroded. I'd be more comfortable with excellent original than most reproductions.
