Picked up another F-85
I just picked up another 1968 A-body, this one is an F-85. I saw it last year in a local yard where I was checking out a 1971 Cutlass. The 1971 was priced way to high and the owner/operator didn't want to sell this beauty. Well... a year later I see it posted on the local Craigslist at a somewhat reasonable price so I bought it. After talking the owner down another $100.00 I moved it in out of the weather and started doing an inventory of the car.
It seems fairly solid. As you can see, it's a two door post with a column shift and bench seat. The doors open and close nicely. But they have some rust in the corners. It's somewhat complete, missing a couple pieces of trim and the hood hinges. I looked around the yard where the car was stored and couldn't find them. I was able to find the hood, fenders and front bumper. There are some parts in the trunk as well, a transmission, grille, and front lights.
I will be posting it in the "Cars for Sale" section shortly. After a few weeks there I'll start parting it out.

Thomas,
Looks like it was originally Willow Gold (color code G). Very nice color too. Hope it sells complete as it will turn out extremely nice. Ted (sammy) on this site just did a 68 which he sold to Joffrie. Hope you don't mind if I post some pics his finished car. Maye it will stimulate others to see the gem hiding in plain sight.
