The Parts Place/ free commercial

Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me.

This is paid ( by myself) commercial, but free for them as the title says.

Once upon a time, i ordered parts for my 76 Cutlass. There were interior parts which were misintrepet. I asked about it from the seller, sending pictures comparing their "correct" part and factory part. They admitted it was wrong, and offered to return money if i ship them back to them with my own expense. Never did, since everyone might imagine shipping something back from Finland to US very much every time costs more than the item itself. I bit the bullet and threw them to trash. By the way, they are still misintrepeting those very same interior parts to 76 cutlass as correct ones.

Fast forward 4 years, i was in need of trans backdrive linkage bushing. They sell hardware kit which clearly shows the bushing. But alas, when the item at last after 2 weeks arrived, just that one €&@&&@ bushing is missing.

This time i dont even waste my time to contact them, i thought free commercial is better. Rated them 1 star ( would have gave 0 if possible) on ebay already. Now to wait 2 weeks again for that one part. Not coming from Parts Place this time. That joy did cost me $65 after postages. Way to wipe my ***.

Sorry to hear that Jouni. I had a real bad experience with the Parts Place many years ago. I haven't dealt with them since.

They contacted me back. They were only interested about their bad ebay-review, nothing else, and claiming i dont even have the item yet since it wasnt updated to them yet. Nothing after that, just quietness after my reply, and i didnt even tell them to eat s*** yet.

It's a shame people still deal with Parts Place. A person would be hard pressed to find a more dishonest business to deal with!! They are a smarmy bunch of scum bags who should have been out of business years ago! I still have one of their "parts that fit" in my basement gathering dust! F#%&K Parts Place!!
P.S.
I stopped in to see them a few years back near closing time and they didn't have time to discuss my complaint. ( They could tell I was Pissed...they might not be as stupid as they look!)

they are hit or miss..they bring stuff to market that has helped the industry...but their customer service is what kills them..i refuse to use them, although i use some of their products, i use other vendors that pedal their wares...and a couple of those are just as bad...i guess they dont need repeat customers...

how anyone uses them with out googling them is beyond me.
