The Parts Place

Just wondering how everyone feels about this company and their products.

I started buying parts from them this year and havent had an issue. I've only ordered a few parts though. I plan on purchasing alot more parts this winter.

I would like to get my bumpers redone this winter, maybe by them.
(69 442)

I have a few OPGI catalogs but their prices seem high and I dont care for their website set-up.

I used Tamraz years ago and was soured after spending $3000.00+ on parts for my car then having them bounce check after check when I sold them some used parts. I finally got paid but it was a mess.

Just looking for expirences, Thanks, Jim

No issues with the Parts Place for me either. I have ordered from them and Fusick's with no problems.

I don't usually buy from PP. Lately there have been some mixed feelings on the customer service component of buying from PP. Your call - it's your money.

One thing I don't like about Fusicks is their shipping charges. Seems unreasonable to me.

A lot of folks including myself don't recommend BAP because of the lousy service we've had from them.

I've had no issues with PP. They were very accommodating with the one return I had. Good prices.

Ditto, I used them several times with no issues.

Also very accomodating when I needed to exchange a part.

Boy they must have improved a lot in the last two months! I wouldn't deal with them! It's your money and your choice. There are better choices out there!

I have dealt with them once off of eBay for some wheels and that worked out fine. Whatever you do, just stay away from Brothers Automotive!

I just ordered from the PP 4 weeks ago and was hesitant about my order being taken down correctly. The Cust Service guy sounded like he just woke up and was confused, but the order was perfect and I wasn't disappointed.
I will order from them again as the prices were slightly better than NPD.

I've bought over $3000 dollars worth of parts from them so far and I've had no problems. I've even emailed them and told them how happy I was with the parts and they thanked me and told me they appreciated the nice words.

I have ordered from them recently and in the past.
Recently ordered a part I did not need and they had no problem taking it back.
In that order they shipped a wrong part - they took care of that at no charge and got me the right part.
One part I ordered just does not fit worth a darn in the center console. (4 speed console courtesy lens housing - pot metal. Part #: CP5632T. Called them about it - they said that was the nature of things. I don't know if I will ship it back or not.
But I have had no problems. They have bee pretty good with me.

On the bumper thing I got mine from your friends at Tamraz. Excellent price and deliver. Bought severasl things and went smooth. I think everyone gets hit every once in a while. Part of it I guess.

I agree. Thousands of $$ spent but not one problem either buying or returning. True some of the sales guys are (what ever) but the orders always get out fast and correct. And good quailty.
(Kentucky input) Eh Allan..?

Fusicks did me real wrong on shipping. I had placed an order and an less then 15min later I remembered I had forgotten something. Called them back and asked to add to my order. The CSR said order was already processed and ready to ship so this would be a new order and additional shipping would apply. Ok, no problem my fault for forgetting. When I received my order all I had ordered that day were in the same carton with two different packing lists and shipping charges for each.

OPG is another "good one". Ordered 4 headline rims. It took 10 days to get this and paid FEDEX. Wrote and asked what the deal is. Everyone gets their suff in 3 days. "well it's because we're way out here....."

I've had bad experiences with their shipping also. Call and complain - when they ask what you want them to do? Tell them to refund one of the shipping charges. They can't double dip like that without getting caught.

Sheesh, you might as well live in Canada. So much for expedited service. They must still be using trains to move parts instead of jets. I find OPGI is one of the most expensive outfits to deal with - just on parts alone.
