Parts finish question
A question about parts finish. In my restoration of a 43 Harley one of the big topics is the finish many parts had. Luckily the Army manuals list each piece with what the part is covered with and the finish.
I searched on here and found nothing. Is there a list or a common knowledge of what parts were painted or treated with on here or anywhere for our cars ie cadmium, or parkerized etc?
I think a sticky per year or model would really help in restorations. I seen all kinds of stuff but not sure what is correct from the factory. My car in question is what the suspension / brakes and frame colors should be? Thanks Matt
