Oldsmobile Pace Cars

Found some better pics - seems there's a father/son who wrote a book on DE racing history, and now the son has a written a book on Dover Downs.
Still no pic of my car, but it's neat to see an Olds given glory on the racetrack. I had seen a pic of this car pacing a race in a racing newspaper over 20 years ago but I was not able to discern if the car was a W-30. In these pics, it doesn't seem so.

Yeah, I know my car is peachy keen! [blushing]
I would have liked to have known the colors of this car - I'm guessing white and black. On a related note, check out this article from two years later. It mentions an Olds, but I don't know which car or which year other than it's not mine based on the paperwork I have showing when the first owner bought it.

The original 69 442 is at the Dover Nascar race this weekend. Cool the car is still around and in great shape. And white and red ! And even cooler the original pace car driver got to do a few laps again !
