Oldsmobile in Museums
Hello Classic Olds Members;
I wonder how many Oldsmobile Vehicles are found in museums. Last night I attended a gathering (association event) at the St. Catharine's Museum and Welland Canal Centre located in St. Catharines Ontario (near Niagara Falls). To my pleasant surprise, there are two vintage Oldsmobiles in the Museum. Both are early 1900's Runabout. Here is a link to what I found on-line and posted in the St. Catharines Stardard (newspaper):

Oldsmobile enthusiasts should stop in to the Museum which not only this 1905 Olds but another that was chartered to be driven across Canada from Halifax to Vancouver (way before the TransCanada Highway). Also watch the massive ships cross to/from Lake Erie to Lake Ontario on the Welland Canal.
It's worth a visit and stop at the St. Catharines Museum. Lot's of Great History! Visit the Welland Canal Locks and the see the great lake ships is truly fascinating (an engineering marvel.

The National Automobile Museum in Reno, of which I'm a member, has two Oldsmobiles that I can remember. One is a Curved Dash and the other is a 1910's something. It's blue and huge! They also once had a Copper 66 Toronado that was once owned by Florence Henderson, but it was unceremoniously sold and the whereabouts now unknown.
Also since the museum also has the Off Road Motorsports Museum inside they at one time had the blue "442" that James Garner raced off road.

Dick's Classic Car Museum in San Marcos, TX has a really nice collection that includes several 50's Olds.
