Wow, looking to replace the water pump in my '78 Starfire, every place I look has a different brand at a different price. Some are new, some re-man. They all say "Unlike other aftermarket manufacturers, (insert brand name here) installs the proper O.E. specified bearing design to meet the specific radial and axial load requirements of each application."

Any advice is appreciated:

Rock Auto:
Airtex - new
Cardone - reman

O'Reilly's:
Murray - new
MasterPro - reman

Advance:
ToughOne (GMB) - new (but "heavy duty")

Auto Zone:
Duralast - new
Valucraft (Cardone)- reman

Amazon:
Edelbrock - new (aluminum casting, cast iron impeller)
Weiand - new (aluminum casting, stamped steel impeller)

Price isn't too much of an object (although that Edelbrock one is $188 ), I just want the best one that I won't be replacing in a few years.
