Exhaust valves (which brands?)

I am going up to 2.07 intakes and went with Ferrea. Probably going to stay with stock exhaust size and am wondering which brand should I use or avoid?
Thanks in advance.

It seems as if most of the stainless valves are the 1.71 which from what I've been reading are not needed for my build. (jm20/22 cam)
Should I just get OEM replacement valves?

Anybody?

The 1.71 is not needed. If anything, get a larger intake valve, like a 2.11",and leave the stock exhaust valve size.Ferrea should have stock diamater exhaust valves. If not try SI.

Seems that most offer only 1.71. Ferrea does not show 1.625.
SI does as does PEP. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Olds-...Q5fAccessories
Wonder what brand Mondello sells. From what I can tell they ask more for whatever they sell because of Joes name.

Everything else I've been able to find is not a performance valve. And they cost more

Very little in the way of reviews on the web that I've been able to find.
I have another 455 and I could take out the exhaust valves and see if there useable.
I read somewhere that SI are Chinese. I not all out anti Chinese. But would prefer US made as my 1st choice. Not so easy these days.

Ended up going with stock replacement on the exhaust. They were real cheap through the head builder. Not sure if he went with 1.62 or 1.68
either will do from what I understand.
Dropping off the intakes tuesday. Porting should be done this weekend.
One more step almost taken!

I just ordered some stock and W31 size S/S valves from 'thevalveguy' on eBay. Not sure on the quality or brand, but he has 100% positive feedback.

I just rebuilt the heads for 98(used 68 Toro C heads) I used competion products Stainless valves. They were stock sizes (2.072 and 1.625) just remember to get the same angle face as the valves you have on mine the intakes were 30 degree and exuast were 45 degree. No complaints so far
