Oldsmobile Candy Store

Oldsmobile Candy Store
I visited the boneyard in Red Bluff Ca. yesterday to get some parts for my 59. It was a very successful 40 hour trip with little sleep but, lots of night driving in the rain (hate that) butcame away with a lot of parts at an unbelievably low price. The cars will be gone VERY soon.
I will post the pics I took here. If you see something in the pics, I recommend you call Joel, the owner ASAP and I mean immediately. You can trust him for a fair and honest assessment of the cars. If possible I suggest you GO there ASAP because you will get much more then you bargained for. Joel and his lady are great, honest people. His number is 530-527-0198. It's a home number but he returns all calls. He's not into computers, photos, etc. so you have to communicate via phone. The cars are being taken to a professional wrecking yard and will be sold for Joel on consignment in pieces as I understand it. If you can buy the cars or parts from Joel before this happens, everyone will be a winner!

More Pics
I have about 30 more pics but they are too big. Can anyone tell me how to paste photos directly without having to resize. Most are around 2 megs. The chart in manage attachments says 9 megs is max for jpg photos and I'm well under that.
But I'm over the allowable dimensions.
When I resize down, the pic is so small there no point to posting it.
Help

No - if you resize and post them all we have to do is click on each pic and an enlarged pic shows up. Looks like a cool scenic place.
I don't know about batch resizing however....maybe someone else knows that.

With that many photos, you'd be much better off posting them all on a photo hosting site like photobucket or picasa and then posting a link to that album here.
To resize photos, there are any number of free photo resizing programs out there. The one I use is FastStone Photo Resizer available here:
http://www.faststone.org/
This installs itself in the context menu that pops up when you right click a photo, and you can choose several different sizes to resize to. You can also choose whether to resize the original photo or make the resized photo a copy. You can select to resize just a single photo, or you can select as many at one time as you want and resize them all at once. Highly recommended.
By the way, there are some nice Oldsmobiles there. I saw what looked like several '64 full-size models with decent bumpers. It seems there's always someone on here desperate for a decent bumper for their early '60s Olds. I hope they find this place.

Rob... I'm struggling with that! I've added five cars to the clutter since you were last here. I really don't have room for anymore. So have you found that acreage in Southern Oregon to buy yet ![Big Grin](https://classicoldsmobile.com/forums/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
Once again, if I only had 20 acres in the country I'd be saving everything I could get my hands on!
