I know I wish everyone would join in. This is fun. Okay last question before Easter Sunday. In what year did Olds last produce the 224 and the 234 cubic in engines for production?
Happy Easter Everyone Catch ya on the flipside got fambly coming early!

Hmm, this is an intresting one, I know for a fact that GM made a 244ci Marine Engine (this engine was made from '76-89). I am not sure if OLDS ever made this engine, but I do know it was for marine use only. The 234ci wasn't an Olds engine it was a Pontiac engine it was a V6.

Well I really can't say it was "strictly Olds engines" since some were outsourced (GM) since 1901. So with that being said I am inclined to let this question go with the answer to my question as 1923. The V8 234 put out a whopping 63.5 hp and the 4 cyl 224 put out 40 hp in 1923.
I think the next person to read this thread should post the next trivia question to be fair. Sound good? I'm game and I would like everyone to have a turn as well if wanted.

We've all seen the "Body by Fisher" badge on your sill plates or seat trim - indicating that that's where the steel body for our Oldsmobile was made - however, if you were to check that same badge location on an Oldsmobile station wagon made between '57 and '64 you wouldn't see "Body by Fisher" - what would it say?

Yes!
Also possibly Owosso - both were plants of the Mitchell Corporation and manufactured tons of steel wagon bodies for GM (other bodies and other makes as well).
I found this out because my father's restoring a '61 Dynamic 88 S/W and the plate says "Body By Ionia" - I thought, "WTF??" and started looking into it.
Anyway, 1969w3155 - you have the floor!

1977 (may have been 76, I've got one of the commemorative plates somewhere). It was to their ultimate detriment, since the General then expected them to duplicate it every year even after the General gave them badge engineered crap to sell.

Yes! Give rocketraider a cigar and the floor! 1977 was the first year for 1 million produced and they did so for two more years before turning out less than 1 million cars in 1980.

Okay it's 1964 offered only to Olds and it's cousin Pontiac.
