Ol Camino

I picked up a '73 CS for parts, but it's really not in that bad of shape overall. But where the pillar meets the top of the quarter it's in pretty bad shape due to the vinyl top. I was thinking about making it into an Olds version of the El Camino. Any thoughts? Or should I just rape it for parts and send it to the crusher?

I have seen 2 done. They both looked good. One a 66' was a low budget build. The other was a big dollar 76'. I do believe both were done with wagons.

Find yourself a 73-77 El Camino or GMC Sprint and replace the front clip and doors with the ones from your Cutlass. A bit of minor body work is involved but the results look great.

Awhile back, on C.L., there was an oldscamino, 73-77 camino body with a 73 cutlass clip. Looked pretty good, he only wanted $1,500 and it had a sbo in it as well!

Have you seen this one? Different generation Cutlass/El Camino, but still well done.

Would this work with a 69 Cutlass also?
