I found an NOS 70 Lid, its just the plastic shroud/top..its missing the vac motor and the flip/flop door...and i cant find a repop...is there a repop??

or anyone with a used lid??i dunno if i should put it together or sell it and buy a repop..my car is a clone anyway...

where would a guy find it..i did a google..

and while i'm here..whats my piece worth? as just the top??

 

Not sure what it is worth but it would be a real cool part to have. The parts place makes a repop door that fits good but they have a bad bow in the middle of them. Thornton's has one also but you have to modify the top for it to fit, Not something you should do on a NOS part. I will stay out of the value part of it because I would be biased, I want it, lol. If you sell it, let me know a price and maybe we could work something out? Is it shiny or does it have a marble look to it. Some of the NOS ones were not very shiny.

 

My original is up on a shelf. It's just for looks. LOL. I have a repop for the car.
