NTOC 2011 ZONE SHOW Update
CO Members: A quick update on the October 7-9, 2011 NTOC Zone Show to be held at the DFW Marriott Hotel & Golf Club located north of Ft Worth on Highway 114 (just off I35W, across from Texas Motor Speedway). YOU MUST HAVE YOUR RESERVATION AT THE HOTEL BY NO LATER THAN SEPTEMBER 7, 2011, TO GET THE $102.35 INCLUSIVE ROOM RATE; otherwise it goes WAY UP! Call them at 1-866-348-3984 (Code: North Texas Oldsmobile Group) or 1-817-961-0800 (direct line to the DFW Marriott). An area to wash your car will be available, and security will be provided both Friday and Saturday nights. Cars spotted on the Show Field Friday/Saturday, with judging beginning at approximately 10 Am Saturday. We gather at approximately 4:42 PM on the Show Field, and leave at 4:55 PM for North Star Dragway up IH35 at a leisurely 65 MPH caravan pace, to show off our Beautiful Oldsmobile's to the populance speeding by at 75 MPH (they will slow down, I guarantee). You can race, or watch. Just a fun, fun, fun weekend. Hope everyone of you can attend. For additional information log onto the North Texas Oldsmobile Club website. HOPE TO SEE YOU THERE! Get those reservations in now, and don't forget to send your car entry in, also (available on the NTOC website)!

The Marriott is very nice, and there aren't other hotels real close, so get your reservation in! It should be an excellent show, smaller but otherwise on a par with a National. I hope the N. Texas chapter exercises the "rain delete" option this year, unlike the Reno show, lol.

Why does this always happen.... I have more nuts and bolts then before i started lol
But i we will have to see if i can make it this year.... Dont think the H/O would be a good idea to drive all the way there, esp with freaking 8.5 mpg and prolly worse on the highway lol.
BUT.... if all works out well with this new car i am looking at, i just might have to take a day trip out there but we shall see
